2019 Commissioning Project

2019 Commissioning Project

Following the success of our inaugural Women From the Future project – we have just commissioned four new plays for Women From the Future II. Over the course of this year Renee Renée Hackett (St. John’s), Catherine Falkner (Vancouver), Liz Solo (Toronto) and Tracey Waddelton (Montreal/St. John’s) will each write a new original script. Throughout the process the artists will share and collaborate with each other online in cross Canada conversations. Stay tuned to this page and to our social media pages for updates on the project and ways you can join the conversation.

The 2019 Women From The Future Commissioning Project is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts | Conseil des Arts du Canada.
